Pastor Jason was called to serve as Pastor here at FBCNM in September 2006, although he began preaching here regularly beginning in July of that year.  Prior to his ministry here, he served churches in Massachusetts and Rhode Island in different capacities - as Youth & Family Pastor, Interim Pastor and Senior Pastor.  While in Rhode Island, he and his wife and a team of others planted a Baptist church in the East Bay area which he also served as Pastor.  

A native of the South Shore, Pastor Jason was born and raised in Abington, with a few stints in Hanover.  He received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord at the age of 8 years old, and was baptized just one year later.  Having sensed the Lord's Call to Pastoral Ministry from a young age, he sought any opportunity to serve the Lord through the local church.  He received his Masters degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

He and his wife Cricket are the super proud parents of Jake, Teddy and Matt...and their dog, Tucker, too!

In whatever spare time he can muster up, he enjoys woodworking in his shop at home, watching a basketball game with the family (go Celtics!), playing piano...and always enjoying a cup of coffee, too!

 

Of the Pastors and Preachers that have had (and continue to have) an impact on his life, he lists his top three as Billy Graham, Chuck Swindoll and Adrian Rogers.
